TrueCar helps auto dealers streamline the car purchase process. One way we did so is through integrating the Stripe payment processing platform into our Dealer Portal, so that dealers could easily receive electronic funds for down payments, amounts due at signing, or other customer payments. For this project, I needed to explain the benefits of signing up with Stripe, while also incorporating Stripe’s language and legal disclaimers.
We introduced dealers to Stripe and let them know how it would benefit them to set up an account.
Once they began the signup process, we transitioned into Stripe’s standard setup flow.
Success! They completed their Stripe account setup.
If they hadn’t completed their setup, we alerted them and let them know that they could continue where they left off.
Gotta love a good error message, especially one that includes a link to rectify the mistake.
